Job Overview

We are growing quickly, and need an experienced marketing star with proven success in the clinical diagnostics or genomics industry to drive inbound and outbound marketing programs to
our clinical audience for the Mastermind Genomic Search Engine. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and able to ideate, execute, and report on campaigns with minimal guidance. This is a great opportunity  for a self-motivated leader who wants to join a great team!

The Clinical Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, providing content for, and executing programs that generate new users and increase adoption of existing users, resulting in delivering MQLs to the sales team. They will work with the marketing and sales teams to develop tactics designed to reach qualified prospects and penetrate targeted accounts.

This position is remote and the candidate must be US based. Periodic travel to the Ann Arbor, Michigan headquarters is required.

Position Responsibilities

In a nutshell, drive the strategy and execution of our Clinical marketing program to grow the Mastermind Genomic Search Engine user base.

  • Lead marketing strategy, content creation, and execution to the Clinical target audience
  • Own the Clinical strategy and sales tools
  • Drive every aspect of the Clinical marketing programs, supported by the VP of marketing and collaborating with team members to provide resources in their area of expertise (design, email, social, etc.)
  • Collaborate with product management on Product-Led Growth strategies to increase knowledge, satisfaction, and adoption of the Mastermind Genomic Search Engine
  • Research and identify target companies and individuals that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Develop account profiles and target personas. Execute ABM campaigns.
  • Maintain all prospects using Salesforce and the Pardot CRM
  • Identify and deploy fresh ideas and tools to aid in the execution of inbound and outbound programs
  • Compose case studies and other customer-centric sales materials using the Challenger sales philosophy
  • Develop metrics and maintain reporting to measure the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
  • Inform leadership and the Revenue Team (marketing, sales, and customer success) on marketing activities being performed and results achieved

Required Skills and Background

  • 5+ years experience marketing to clinical diagnostic labs and/or hospitals/medical
    centers. Experience in product-led growth and/or account-based marketing a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, genetics, or comparable education/experience
  • A firm grasp on genomics and the variant interpretation process
  • Experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using a CRM (Pardot experience preferred)
  • Experience leading a team or projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation and workflows preferred
  • Experience with targeting and segmentation to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns preferred
