Genomenon seeks an exceptional Pharma Marketing Manager

We are growing quickly, and need an experienced Pharma marketing star with proven success in the pharma or biotech industry to drive our pharma marketing and outbound marketing programs. The ideal candidate will be able to independently ideate, execute, and report on successful campaigns with minimal guidance. The Pharma Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team. They will work with the marketing and sales teams to develop tactics designed to penetrate targeted accounts.
This position is remote and the candidate must be US based. Periodic travel to the Ann Arbor, Michigan headquarters is required.
In a nutshell, drive the strategy and execution of our Pharma marketing program to obtain introductory meetings with target companies. This is marketing TO Pharma, not selling FOR Pharma.
- Lead marketing strategy and execution to the Pharma target audience
- “Own” the Pharma Playbook and sales tools
- Drive every aspect of the Pharma outbound programs, supported by the VP of marketing and a part-time outbound marketing person, and collaborating with team members to provide resources in their area of expertise (writing, design, email, social, etc.)
- Identify prospects attending pharma events and execute outreach program to obtain meetings
- Produce case studies and other customer-centric sales materials
- Champion marketing goals in the scientific paper writing process
- Develop metrics and maintain reporting to measure the performance of marketing campaigns
- Use data to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
- Inform leadership and the Revenue Team (marketing, sales, and customer success) on marketing activities being performed and results achieved

Required Skills and Background
- 5+ years experience marketing to Pharma or biotech (not pharmaceutical sales). Experience in account-based marketing a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, genetics, or comparable education/experience
- A firm grasp on genomics and how it applies to pharmaceutical development
- Experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using a CRM (Pardot experience preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of marketing automation and workflows
- Experience with targeting and segmentation to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns
- Experience leading a team or projects
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
